Born in Hanoi, a very poetic city from the East of Asia, artist Maureen My Ngoc grew up with the charming of mysterious old tales about the Rabbits living in the Moon making an elixir of longevity. Growing up, she spent beautiful days of her youth studying at the University of the Arts London, where she majored in Jewellery Design.

 

While being here, she was deeply inspired by the culture of taking afternoon tea- a fascinating tradition that lives on through centuries. She was so fond of pretty little cups with shining silver spoons, the sparkling cubes of sugar under the sun, the cuteness of freshly baked scone, and the clotted cream that shape like a tiny cloud.

 

One day, when she looked at the Moon and wondered if the Rabbits in her childhood’s fairy tale are still making the eternal drinks and she fells asleep bearing that thought. The next morning, she wakes up and starts creating her new jewellery collection - a collection that she made from her dream- a dream of Rabbits having Eternitea…
